Situated eight miles south of Conwy, the nationsl trust's Bodnant Garden is renowned as one of the most beautiful gardens in Britian and includes approximately eight acres of magnificent formal and informal gardens created by four generations of the Aberconwy Family.
Visitors to the gardens are spoilt for choice, as magnificent views and vistas abound.The garden is divided into two distinct areas: The Dell, which lies in the valley bottom alongside the River Hiraethlyn, a veritable wild haven of Japanese azaleas and plant and tree speciments from around the world; and the Upper Garden around Bodnant Hall, a series of terraces and formal lawns, rose gardens, pools and pergolas.
