Steiff Bears and Animals
At Lilliput Lane World we're only interested in the very finest hand made cottages. So, we're naturally delighted and proud to be associated with the very finest and original teddy bears, Steiff Bears. These were first created over 100 years ago by Margarete Steiff. Initially, the company focussed on creating toys for the nurseries of the children of the world. Following, a story about President Theodore Roosevelt, who, whilst out on a bear 'shoot' had shown pity on a baby grizzly which ahd been tethered to a tree to make it easier to shoot, Steiff launched the very first Teddy Bear.
Since then, they have never looked back and have been dedicated to producing the most charming and enduring collection of animals, bears and baby plush the world has ever seen.
