Our cottage from Weston Turville shows a perfect parent - a duck! In the early parts of the twentieth-century, many of the village's inhabitants made a living by breeding white Aylesbury ducks for the London markets. Lilliput Lane started producing their miniature cottages in 1982. David Tate, the founder, opened workshops at Skirsgill, in England's Lake District, and the Company has remained in the area ever since. The majority of cottages are based on real cottages and this precious item is a perfect example.
